During the year 2015, I had a chance to go to United States, exploring four states (Nevada, Arizona, Utah and California), 10 National Parks, some breathtaking places and driving 2,800 miles. It was such a special trip for me, since it required a very good health and stamina along the way. Sometimes you had to stay up late at night to catch the star-trails. Another day you had to wake up early morning to get the beautiful sunrise scenes. Not to mention a long hour drove from one point to another one.
The other exciting thing for me was, I also brought a bunch of analog films rolls to shoot (Kodak Portra 400, Portra 160 and TMax 400), an old Leica M6J body and 21mm summilux lens. This brings back my memories, back in the days when I was in high school and shot films whenever I travel.
Special thanks to Soup N Film (http://www.soupnfilm.com) who provides good quality film processing and scanning. The service results are great. Below are some of the pics I shot with films:
Horseshoe Bend, Arizona
Delicate Arch, Utah
Zion National Park, Utah
Marshall’s Beach San Francisco
Badwater Basin of Death Valley National Park, California
Las Vegas, Nevada
Monument Valley / Navajo National Park, Utah
